BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Two South Central Kentucky filmmakers are working to break barriers with their short film “ Forever, Caroline .” Their success is paying off, as they’ve been accepted into seven of the 12 film festivals across the U.S. and in Canada.
The film is only 12 minutes long, but more than a year of work went into it, from planning, writing, pitching, meeting and creating a crew and team of investors, filming, and post-production, Tompkinsville native Sierra Harper and Glasgow native Kendra Morgan are proud of what they achieved.
“As two small-town Kentucky women, it was really scary for us to just put ourselves out there like that,” Harper said. “Overcoming that and saying, ‘You know what? We’re just going to go for it.’”
