Srinagar, Sept 24: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir has established five units of improved Gurez sheep at Baduab, Aanghikot villages of the Bandipora’s border subdivision, Gurez.

According to a statement issued here, the improved sheep breed units have been established under the ICAR-sponsored network project on ‘Animal Genetic Resources’ operational in the SKUAST-K’s Division of Animal Genetics and Breeding, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry.
