After a cooler period paired with an almost entire day of rain, we transition to an extended period of dry and warm weather. This is caused by an omega-block like pattern moving east, allowing for a warm and dry air mass to dominate the Midwest. This will provide us with abundant sunshine as we step into the weekend, with clouds rapidly decreasing.
Rain chances are slim to none for the foreseeable future, leaving the Missouri drought monitor to continue in its pattern of boasting very fall-like colors of red, orange and yellow.
Expect temperatures to linger in the 80’s this weekend and next week.
