After a cloudy and rainy couple of days in mid-Missouri changes are coming with the return of sunshine and a warming trend.

Before we clear out we do have passing showers and thunderstorms around the region this evening. They will fade away as the sun sets.

THURSDAY’S FORECAST

Morning temperatures will start in the middle 50s with some patchy fog possible. We’ll see a mostly sunny sky through the day with highs warming to the middle 70s.

LOOKING AHEAD

A ridge of high pressure will be building into the region and temperatures will begin a warming trend with highs expected to be in the 80s starting on Friday and continuing into next week. Humidity will be back to low levels and lows will be in the 50s.
