2 facing charges after throwing rocks at tow truck driver in Lone Tree

LONE TREE, Colo. (KDVR) — Two people were arrested after allegedly threatening and harassing a tow truck driver outside an apartment building parking garage near the Regional Transportation District's RidgeGate Parkway Station last week, according to the Lone Tree Police Department.

Police said the suspects followed the driver to the garage, where dash camera video shows the suspects throwing a rock at the truck. Police say they also threw a metal pipe at the tow truck and threatened to slash the truck's tires and spray the driver with bear mace.

“It was a violent encounter that escalated very quickly,” said Lt. Travis Sneith with the Lone Tree Police Department.
