SPRINGFIELD, Neb. —

Springfield residents lined the streets for the annual Platteview homecoming parade on Wednesday.

People of all ages stopped by to see the kids and hear the marching band play the school's song.

"When you have small towns and you have kids like this, I just want to be a part of it. And you got parents like this that are just awesome that back the kids. And you get the town that is all in on these guys. It's just the best," said one paradegoer.

Platteview takes on Ralston in a Thursday evening matchup.
