THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a possibility of rain in Kerala for the next five days. Yellow alert has been issued in various districts. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam are on yellow alert. Yellow alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, and Thrissur tomorrow.
Isolated heavy rain is predicted. Heavy rain is defined as a situation where 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain is received in 24 hours. The IMD has also announced that there is a possibility of strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kmph in isolated places in Kerala from today (25/09/2025) to 27/09/2025.
