William Shatner, 94, who famously played Captain James T. Kirk in the original series of Star Trek, was allegedly rushed to hospital after experiencing a health issue at his home.

However, Shatner's agency is denying reports he was hospitalised, according to US news outlet, ABC7 .

A statement from Shatner's agency, TalentWorks, said the actor is fine.

Original reports claimed that on Wednesday, Shatner was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after experiencing a sudden issue with his blood sugar levels, according to TMZ .

The Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at his home on Wednesday afternoon, before he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, reports went on to claim.

A source claimed that he is "resting comfortably" and is "doing good," according to reports.
