Australian singer Darren Hayes has revealed he’s had to fork out $100,000 on medical bills, after suffering a blackout fall which left him with a broken jaw.

The Savage Garden frontman, 52, revealed in April he suffered three fainting spells, where he lost consciousness, causing him to fall and break his jawbone in half.

As part of the traumatic episode, he shattered nine teeth.

Hayes let fans know he was on the mend on Wednesday but said it came at a price. He shared a bill which showed he owed $8100 after insurance, after a visit to the surgeon.

“So, this is one of the many bills I’ve received after breaking my jaw (for newbies, don’t worry it was in March, I’ve recovered). This is the bill after insurances,” Hayes wrote.
