A 17-year-old boy who tragically died in a crash on a rural road has been named. Floral tributes have been left at the scene where Liam Bracken passed away.

The teenager was the driver of a blue Vauxhall Corsa that came off the road and went down an embankment off Jackson Heights Road, in Belthorn, near Darwen.

Four other teenagers were passengers in the car, they were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening
