A toddler was injured and rushed to hospital after an Audi swerved off the road and was ploughed into a tree in a horror crash.

The incident saw police and paramedics race to the scene on in the Broadoak Lane area of Mobberley, near to Manchester Airport , at around 1.35pm on Wednesday (September 24).

Attending the scene, officers then found the collision involved a grey Audi Q3 that had left the carriageway and smashed into a tree.

The driver of Audi, a 28-year-old man from Altrincham , and a two-year-old girl who was a passenger, were rushed to Wythenshawe Hospital by a passing member of the public.
