MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a semi and a car that happened Wednesday night in Hopkins County.

It was around 11:30 p.m. on I-69 near Dawson Springs, Kentucky.

Troopers say 51-year-old Jose Tovar-Silva, of Sanluis Potosi, Mexico, was driving a semi-truck and trailer.

They say it crashed with the car driven by 64-year-old Julia Jones, of Blue Mountain, Arkansas.

She died at the scene.

The driver of the semi was not hurt.
