KINGSTON, N.Y. — U.S. Rep. Pat Ryan has launched a national political action committee known as the Patriot PAC to help elect Democratic public servants, including military veterans.

Ryan, D-Gardiner, who represents the 18th Congressional District, said in a statement Thursday that the Patriot PAC is a political organization “dedicated to building the bench of servant leaders both in New York and across the country.”

All PAC-endorsed candidates will come from a background of public service, Ryan’s campaign said.

The goal, the campaign said, is to raise $2 million during the current election cycle.

In tandem with the launch of Patriot PAC, Ryan announced the first four “Patriot” endorsements of the cycle.
