SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Florida’s first Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday is still underway, and it will last through the end of the year.

The holiday, officially listed by the Florida Department of Revenue as the “Hunting, Fishing and Camping Sales Tax Holiday,” suspends sales taxes on firearms, ammunition, and other supplies. That means Floridians can shop for hunting, fishing, and camping gear tax-free through Dec. 31.

There are a few limits. The holiday does not apply to the rental or repair of any of the qualifying items.
