WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - As Watertown’s Harvest Festival approaches, city officials are calling it bigger and better than ever.

Jim Scordo has been pivotal in organizing the event for the last 3 years, and each year, Scordo takes months of his life planning the event to ensure it’s a great time. This year, he’s stepped it up a notch.

“People saw all the hard work we’ve put into it and they just continue to see it and want to see it expand, so we decided, why not just expand it this year,” he said.

The festival is usually held at Thompson Park, but this year it will be held at the Watertown fairgrounds.

Instead of it being one day, it’s now a three-day event.
