Update: 10/29

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Construction along East Century Avenue and 52nd Avenue is nearly complete, with crews finishing key improvements.

City officials said roadway work is done, sidewalks and ADA-compliant crosswalks are installed, and streetlights are operational. Landscaping is underway, including topsoil placement and tree planting. Temporary pavement markings and permanent signs are being added, and grass seeding and mulching should wrap up in the coming days.

The road reopened to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Final touches will continue into 2026, including permanent striping, chip sealing and minor landscaping enhancements to ensure durability and aesthetics.
