PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A 26-year-old murder suspect who was accidentally released by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office on Monday has been rearrested in Florence, MCSO announced Thursday.

Ty Anthony Sage was reportedly released from the Multnomah County Detention Center after posting bail on Monday, Sept. 22.

At about 1 p.m. Thursday, Sage was rearrested at a gas station off Highway 101 in Florence, Ore., with the help of U.S. Marshals, according to MCSO. No force was used, deputies said.

The sheriff’s office says the initial release order signed on Sept. 17 indicated Sage’s bail was set for $5,000, but that in this case he should not have been able to post bail.
