LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The lawsuit filed by Argenta Contemporary Theatre against 13 former employees over trade infringement reached a new level Thursday with a court filing.
The filing was made on behalf of the 13 employees being sued by the theatre on Sept. 25. The group had resigned en masse on Aug. 24 and formed a competing theatre company called Stage 13, which would allegedly offer the same classes as the Argenta Contemporary Theatre (ACT).
A requested temporary restraining order was issued on Sept. 19, preventing Stage 13 from using ACT material for its classes.
The Friday filing that the 13 former employees “documented and reported several instances of believed misconduct experienced or witnessed over the course of several months by Defendants that threatened the well-being of Defe
