Spearfish, S.D. (KELO) -- Even after the sun sets tonight, the journey across South Dakota will continue for The 437 Project.
The team of local runners is on a mission to save lives. They're raising money for The Helpline Center, which connects people with mental health resources.
But the relay across the state wouldn't be possible without a team of volunteers.
Running across South Dakota takes training, endurance and a lot of support.
"The volunteers have already been up to this point incredible and I expect them to only, you know, continue to support us and be there. Then you know just leaning on our fellow runners and just being there for each other throughout the long journey. So can't thank the volunteers enough for everything they've already put in and for what's to come," The 43
