The Blazers on Thursday unveiled the Moda Center’s new videoboards, offering a cluster of media a glimpse at the most conspicuous and consequential upgrade to the arena viewing experience in decades.

“No matter where you sit, every fan gets the opportunity to have a better view, better angle, be able to see more,” Blazers President Dewayne Hankins said of the new videoboards. “That was really important to us.”

Indeed, the mammoth, state-of-the-art LED screens, which are scattered across the arena, are hard to miss. In addition to a new Jumbotron above center court, the team has added gigantic new videoboards that span both sides of each endzo
