Grand Central Terminal experienced a total blackout Thursday night after rush hour, according to social media posts and an MTA spokesperson.

Photos and videos posted online around 8:30 p.m. show commuters walking through a pitch black main hall.

When contacted by phone, an MTA spokesperson said the agency was in the process of assessing what was happening.
