ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - An Odenville Middle School employee has been arrested for solicitation of a sex act with a student.

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer was made aware of the incident reported to administration at Odenville Middle School.

Investigators with the St. Clair County Criminal Investigative Division were notified by the SRO and began an investigation.

Authorities said following their investigation, 22-year-old Tyler Patrick Easter of Odenville was arrested for solicitation of a sex act with a student under the age of 19.

Easter was booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City with a $6,000 bond.

The sheriff’s office said Mr. Easter is no longer employed at Odenville Middle School.
