LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Ingham Family Auto, a vehicle repair shop in Mason, will be hosting a community food drive next week, with the goal of supporting families in Mason and surrounding areas.

The business says donations of non-perishable food can be made at its Mason repair facility during regular business hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day starting Sept. 29 and running to Oct. 3.

According to the business, all donations will go to local food banks and organizations helping those in need, and that they want to give back to the Mason community for supporting them. The items they need the most are: • Canned fruits and vegetables • Pasta, rice, and boxed meals • Canned meats and hearty soups • Peanut butter and jelly • Baby food and formula • Cereal and granola bars
