CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation is receiving over three million dollars to build the new library on the city’s west side.
The Busse Foundation is donating three and a half million to the library’s capital campaign to build the new library. It will be located at 20th Avenue just off of Edgewood Road SW.
The Library Foundation’s $10 million capital campaign has concluded due to their significant donation.
To honor the Busse Foundation’s donation, the new library will be named the Cedar Rapids Public Library Busse Branch.
