KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The Kanawha County Commission on Thursday night approved upgrading the buildings and firing ranges at the law enforcement training center at Camp Virgil Tate.
Commissioners said $2 million is going toward remodeling and reconstruction of the training facility.
Kanawha County Sheriff Joe Crawford said more than 40 agencies use the training facility at Camp Virgil Tate. The commission said they are excited to get a jump start on the improvements.
