ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An Atlanta man who was allegedly caught on camera fatally shooting someone at a Family Dollar on Christmas Eve last year has been arrested.

Justin Hodges was booked in the Fulton County Jail on Thursday. He faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, battery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

On Dec. 24, 2024, East Point police were called to the Family Dollar at 2433 Delowe Drive, where they found Scott Melton with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
