LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Athletics) - The Nebraska soccer team conceded two goals in less than a minute and fell to the Michigan Wolverines, 2-1, on Thursday evening at Barbara Hibner Stadium.

That was the Huskers’ first loss of the season, and NU fell to 5-1-5 (0-1-3 Big Ten). Michigan improved to 4-6-1 (1-2-1 Big Ten).

The Big Red held the advantage in shots (24-8), shots on goal (10-5) and corner kicks (6-3) but only converted one goal, a shot into the top left of the goal by freshman Carson Bohonek in the 35th minute. Bohonek was assisted on the goal by fellow first-years Sadie Sant and Mila Brach.

Cece Villa (4-1-5) took the loss in goal, after allowing two scores by the Wolverines. Villa tallied three saves in the net.
