COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Golf's most storied rivalry is coming to New York as the best American and European golfers will battle it out at one of the toughest golf courses in the world.

The 45th Ryder Cup will take place this weekend from Bethpage's black course in Farmingdale and will be broadcast on NBC4. After team matches on Friday and Saturday, the battle for the Ryder Cup will conclude with Sunday's 12 singles matches.

Team USA has won the last two Ryder Cups on home soil and will be led by some of the top ranked golfers in the world while Team Europe aims to win back-to-back Ryder Cups for the first time in a decade.
