Cracker Barrel is shuttering dozens of locations of its offshoot restaurant chain, Maple Street Biscuit Company.

The move comes as parent company Cracker Barrel looked ahead to the 2026 fiscal year, shuttering 14 Maple Street Biscuit Company locations due to poor performance.

“We appreciate the continued patronage of the many guests who have dined with Maple Street at these 14 locations over recent years and thank our team members for their passionate dedication to Maple Street,” Cracker Barrel said in a statement to USA Today about the closures.

What Maple Street Biscuit Company locations are closing?

The locations slated for closure have not yet been announced.

However, the store locator on Maple Street Biscuit Company’s website shows that 68 restaurants remain open.
