A Worcester couple was convicted Wednesday of trafficking their young relative for sex, advertising online to clients across New England, according to the Massachusetts US Attorney’s office.

Kiersten Soto, 32, and Moises Soto, 33, subjected the relative to physical and verbal abuse as she endured “agonizing” drug withdrawals, prosecutors said in a statement.

After a six-day trial, each were convicted of conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, prosecutors said.

Kiersten Soto was also found guilty of using interstate facilities to promote prostitution, prosecutors said.

The couple was arrested and indicted in December 2022.
