Canadian agricultural leaders are sounding the alarm over the growing impact of Chinese tariffs on key exports, warning that the country's farmers and agri-food businesses are facing billions in losses.
This week, the House of Commons Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food heard testimony from major industry representatives about the economic fallout from trade restrictions, particularly on canola and peas.
