HOW DO SPEED CAMERAS WORK?

Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras, also known as photo radar or speed cameras, became a hot button in Ontario in recent weeks after Ford began rapping them as an ineffective “tax grab.”

Ford said if municipalities didn’t ditch speed cameras, he would, after 17 cameras in Toronto were cut down over two nights this month.
