CLEVELAND, Ohio – Barrio Tacos is holding Be Like Stacy, a benefit to commemorate the life of Stacy Gilbert and to raise money for cancer research.

Gilbert was a friend to many, including Barrio co-founder Sean Fairbairn, a rep for the restaurant told cleveland.com.

The benefit will take place across all Barrio Tacos locations in October. The company will donate a portion of sales from its monthly specials to Susan G. Komen breast-cancer foundation in honor of Gilbert. The specials include Chicken Paprikash Taco, Paprikash Queso, Spritz into Fall cocktail, Apple Pickin’ mocktail and the Be Like Stacy shot.

Gilbert died last year of cancer. She was 48.

A Be Like Stacy celebration of life is scheduled at Barrio Tacos in Strongsville and the location at Ohio State at 6 p.m. Thursday,
