PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Mild weather remains after a warmer start to the week across western Oregon and southwest Washington.
Increasingly clear skies will bring sunshine and highs in the mid-70s back to the Willamette Valley on Friday. A light northerly breeze will make it feel comfortable across the greater Portland/Vancouver area to end the week. A brief warming trend will push afternoon highs into the low 80s on Saturday as sunny skies remain.
A weak atmospheric river is starting to take shape over the Pacific Ocean. The return of clouds and cooler temperatures will come with an increased chance of rain for the final few days of September.
Portland's weekend weather will go from the low 80s with sunshine to clouds and temperatures in the mid 70s. Rain showers aren't expected to arr
