NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A traffic stop Thursday afternoon in Madison led to the arrest of a man accused of shooting another person at an apartment complex in early September.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said Courtney Robertson, 38, was booked into Metro jail Thursday on a dozen charges, including felony attempted criminal homicide.

The shooting was reported Sept. 9 just after 9:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Hickory Hollow Place. Officials said a group of people were blocking Robertson from entering his alleged girlfriend's apartment, including the woman's teenage son.

During an argument, Robertson reportedly shot a 24-year-old man in the collarbone. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a collapsed lung.
