CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Since its inception nearly four months ago, the absconder unit in Cheatham County has served more than 200 warrants.
According to the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office, there were 1,018 unserved warrants when the unit started on May 29, but as of Friday, Sept. 26, that number is down to 780.
This news comes several days after deputies found a man they had been seeking for months.
Body camera footage from Tuesday, Sept. 23 shows authorities swooping in on 40-year-old Jonathan Kemp. According to deputies, Kemp was wanted for felony probation violation.
