Innovation nonprofit relocates to larger Northwest space to support growing initiatives

Portland’s nonprofit sector continues to demonstrate resilience as organizations expand their footprint in the city’s commercial real estate market. According to a report from the Portland Business Journal, the Lemelson Foundation, a $396 million organization focused on invention-based business development, has completed a move to an 8,000-square-foot office space in Northwest Portland’s Field Office development.

The foundation’s new headquarters sits within Field Office at 1895-2035 N.W. Front Ave., a 2018 development created through a partnership between Portland-based Project^ and Washington, D.C.-based National Real Estate Advisors. The building was designed as one of Portland’s larger speculative
