Two multifamily properties in Seattle have traded hands, showing that investors continue to be attracted to the city. Real estate investment firm Virtú Investments has acquired two apartment communities in West Seattle’s Junction neighborhood, adding 331 total units to its portfolio in what the company described as a supply-constrained market with strong growth potential. The properties, Link and Mural, are located just blocks apart in the Junction area and were purchased at an estimated 30 percent discount to replacement cost, according to the company’s announcement.
In total, according to King County public records, the portfolio was acquired for $110.9 million, or around $335,045 per unit. The 195-unit Link Apartments were purchased for $64.9 million, or about $3
