LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Starbucks that sits near 12th and P streets in downtown Lincoln shared they will be shutting their doors this week.

This is one of hundreds of Starbucks locations closing in the U.S., Canada and Europe as the company focuses more of its resources on a turnaround. The Seattle coffee giant said along with the closures, 900 nonretail employees would be laid off.

A sign was posted on the door of the downtown Lincoln Starbucks notifying customers of the closure. This would bring the number of Lincoln locations down to 13.
