It seems like this jump happened right before our eyes without our noticing.

But Disney+ has, in fact, gone from one of the cheapest to one of the most expensive streaming services. Now we’re left wondering as to how and when that happened.

Taking a look back, when Disney launched its streaming platform Disney+ for $6.99 a month in 2019, it was cheaper than many other services out there.

Fast forward to today, beginning in October, it will be 172% more expensive than it was six years ago.
