NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is sounding the alarm on a drug-resistant "superbug," reporting a dramatic increase of infections.
Dr. Lynn Sosa, director of infectious disease and state epidemiologist at the Connecticut Department of Public Health (CTDPH) spoke with Kathryn Hauser about this bacteria, what kinds of infections happen when someone is exposed and whether or not the bug is spreading through Connecticut hospitals.
