ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Cenla resident Ethan Henagan was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in mid-August, which has so far led to at least two major surgeries.

On Sept. 26, KP Jewelers held a second blood drive to help Ethan’s recovery efforts as he continues treatments in the ICU at a local hospital.

Lil Chubby’s in Pineville was one of the first to welcome community support for Ethan. In late August, KP Jewelers held their first blood drive for Ethan and wanted to bring more support for Ethan with a second drive.

“It makes me so proud to be a person of Cenla and to be from here born and raised, but also just to be of Louisiana,” said Victoria Paul, Ethan’s best friend. “And I think that this is something so much bigger than even what we realize now.“
