ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Starting Friday, the inflation checks are starting to get mailed out. The checks are being mailed out automatically to the physical address on your 2023 tax return. So what happens if you did not file then? Is it too late? The short answer - not yet!

Yversha Roman, the Director of Strategic Partnerships at CASH and Empire Justice Center says there is still time. "We were given the October 15th deadline for individuals to file. So, if you haven't filed 2023 for whatever reason, you still have time."

Roman also said there are no electronic deposits for this check.
