ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Community leaders and jazz artist Bill Easley unveiled a new marker for the Pythodd Room, a former jazz club, in the Corn Hill neighborhood on Clarissa Street.

The marker honors the history of the Pythodd Room and the cultural significance of Clarissa Street, a place known for its rich history, culture, and community.

"We're not only honoring the legacy and legendary Pythodd, but we're also uplifting the spirits of Clarissa Street itself," said Patricia Mason-Williams, VP of the Clarissa St. Legacy.

The marker is located at the intersection of Clarissa and Troup Streets, inviting visitors to explore the historical significance of the area.
