Oscar Speranza and Jude Franco each ran for a pair of touchdowns for Morristown-Beard as it overcame a halftime deficit against Dalton (NY) en route to a 27-14 win in Morristown.

The Morristown-Beard offense found the end zone on its first play from scrimmage as Speranza ripped off a 72-yard touchdown run at the 9:35 mark of the opening quarter.

Morristown-Beard expanded its lead on a three-yard plunge from Franco with 9:55 to play before halftime before Dalton responded with a pair of touchdowns to take a 14-13 lead it would took into halftime.

Speranza and Franco both found pay dirt to help Morristown retake the lead with 1:06 to play in the quarter as Speranza converted a 4th-and-6 into a 13-yard touchdown run following by a successful two-point conversion from Franco.
