BROKEN ARROW — Pardon Broken Arrow football players if they had nightmares Friday night about Owasso running back Jayden Hall.

The Owasso senior ball carrier was a one-man workhorse, particularly after halftime, as he amassed a game-high 207 yards rushing on 35 carries while scoring a pair of touchdowns as the No. 3 Rams surged past the No. 4 Tigers 28-14 in the team’s District 6A1-2 opener at Memorial Stadium.

After the teams left the field at halftime with the game tied 7-7, Owasso dominated the second half with Hall being the Rams’ catalyst.

Owasso (2-2, 1-0) ran 46 plays in the second half, compared to just 20 offensive snaps for Broken Arrow (2-2, 0-1).
