CORVALLIS — The pain in Trent Walker’s face said it all.

Oregon State ’s top wide receiver — a lifelong Beavers fan turned walk-on and eventual star — was on the verge of tears when asked about a 27-24 overtime loss to Houston.

“It’s not how I wanted to finish my senior year,” Walker said. “And this is not how I want to look back at my time at Oregon State.”
