Grief is a powerful and nuanced emotion. But so is hope. And I’m grateful that it’s possible to carry both. It’s been one year since Tropical Storm Helene upended our lives, and I wanted to commemorate the milestone by extending our utmost appreciation for the ways you have contributed to our recovery and offer our sustained empathy as we all go through our healing journey.
