Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport climbed two spots this year in J.D. Power’s annual North America Airport Satisfaction Study, finishing 10th among 27 large airports — a category defined as handling 10 million to 32.9 million passengers annually.

Michael Taylor, lead travel analyst at J.D. Power, said in a phone interview Friday that the New Orleans airport's overall score rose as passengers continued to rate it highly, particularly for food and beverage offerings, as well as the ease with which they navigate.
