A 35-year-old man who was walking on southbound Interstate 75 near I-375 died after being struck by a vehicle, according to police.
I-75 closed for a few hours last night around 10 p.m. for an investigation and has since reopened, police said.

The Detroit Regional Communication Center received calls around 10:05 p.m. saying a man walking northbound in the southbound lanes of I-75 was hit by a vehicle, according to Michigan State Police Second District on X .
First aid was started on the scene where troopers found the man in travel lanes, and the man was pronounced dead on the scene by Detroit Fire, according to MSP.
